Carers events during Carers Week
Help and Care are running two events during Carers Week in Stratton, near Dorchester on the 12th June and in Wimborne on the 14th June.
West Dorset Carers Event - Tuesday 12th June
The West Dorset Carers Event has been organised by Help and Care in conjunction with Dorset Adult Social Services. If you care for a loved one or look after someone who needs your help, come along to Stratton Village Hall near Dorchester on Tuesday 12th June
There will be plenty of advice about caring, information on support available and a buffet lunch. Other organisations such as St John's Ambulance and the MS Society will be on hand, and it is also a good opportunity to meet other carers.
Places are limited, so please call Help and Care on 0845 4500 418 to book a place. There is a £2 charge per person to cover costs.

East Dorset Carers Week Event - Thursday 14th June
The East Dorset Carers Event has been organised by Help and Care in conjunction with Dorset Adult Social Services. If you care for a loved one or look after someone that needs your help, come along to the Hanham Centre, Hanham Road, WImborne on Thursday 14th June. This is a drop-in session so there is no need to book. IT will be open from 11am - 3pm.
There will be plenty of advice about caring, information on support available and pampering sessions. Other organisations such as St John's Ambulance and the Alzheimers Society will be on hand, and it is also a good opportunity to meet other carers. or relax with a cream tea.
