Help and Care is looking for people who share our values and have experience of the building industry. We are creating a new service designed to support older people through the complexities of a home improvement project.
We are looking for people who would undertake work for us on a freelance, per-project basis. This would not involve any building work specifically, one of our local contractors will do that. But it will involve project-managing home improvement, adaptation and minor building works for people less able to manage them independently.
Help and Care seeks at all times to support people in being independent and remain in their own homes for as long as possible. This new service will offer support to people who might think that moving house was their only option because undertaking an adaptation or building project just seems too daunting; thereby giving them an alternative to stay in their own home safely for longer.
