Have Your Say About Residential Care Home Standards
Help and Care is assisting Bournemouth Borough Council in raising awareness of a consultation about how they assess the quality of residential care services they purchase.
Now’s your chance to let us know what you think about the standards we set for care homes. Does anything need to be changed? Or added? Or removed? Here at Bournemouth Council we’re looking at how we assess the quality of residential care services we purchase. At the moment we set standards that care providers must meet. We developed these working with national and local voluntary organisations. But are they still up to scratch?
We really believe care homes can offer a positive option for many people. Particularly if they’ve struggled at home. But what’s your view? If you live in a care home - or are a relative, friend or carer of someone who does - we’d really like to hear from you.
