Social Enterprise Day Thursday 19 November
Help and Care is celebrated the success of social enterprise Moving On as it completes its first year.
The celebration of Moving On coincides with Social Enterprise Day which takes place on Thursday 19 November, this day is all about encouraging people to use enterprising ideas for social and environmental change.
Moving On is a totally charitable and professional home moving support andsales service, the service is available to anyone of any age in the BH postcode area. Over the last twelve months in excess of 15 property sales have been agreed. All the profit made by Moving On goes straight back into the charity enabling Help and Care to provide support and care to people in the area.
Anyone selling their home with Moving On can access extra support by using the Moving Planner Service. The Moving Planner can provide help with a variety of tasks; from changing utility bills and house clearance to packing up and buying items for a new home and accompanying clients when they view new homes that they might want to move to.
Mark Sharman, Chief Executive of Help and Care said: “We are delighted with the success of Moving On, especially because it was launched during such a difficult financial climate. We have helped many people who would have struggled to move with out the support of our Moving Planner and several customers have used our service so that they can help to benefit others.

Ray Hardwick recently sold his house with Moving On, he said:
