Ways to Donate

Make a donation

Any donation no matter how large of small will help us to continue to provide information, advice, and support to older people, carers and vunerable people in Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset.

Your kind donation could help us to fund:

  • A call to an isolated older person who hasn't left their home for over a year.
  • A volunteer taking an older person to an appointment at the hospital so they don't have to attend alone

Please help us to help others.

Leaving a legacy

A gift in your Will can help us to provide, advise, support and care that will help older people, carers and vunerable people in Bournemouth, Poole and Dorest

Much of our work, including our volunteer services, is completely unfunded. This means that without the generosity of supporters like you we would not be able to continue to provide help to vunerable people. Legacy gifts are a vital source of income for Help & Care. Click here to find out how Douglas's memory lived on through the legacy he left to Help & Care.

Your legacy will make a real difference to a person in need of help. It could provide advice to someone struggling to access support, help an older person to get to hospital appointments or fund the telephone befriending service which provides a vital link for isolated people.

We promise that your legacy will be spent wisely and make a genuine difference to the people we help in the future. You can arrange for your legacy to benefit particular services or aspects of our work - the choice is yours. Many of those leaving legacies understand the benefit of a legacy as they have been service users themselves.

If you would like to speak to someone about leaving a legacy to Help & Care, please contact the fundraising team on 0300 111 3303 or email contact@helpandcare.org.uk.

Donate in memory

Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to celebrate their life. It really is a positive way to help make their memory last and to support Help & Care’s work.

It can also be a great comfort at a time of loss to remember someone close to you in this way. A donation in memory of someone special can be made in place of‚ or as well as‚ flowers at a funeral. It’s up to you.

We are always particularly grateful for these special donations. No matter what the size, these gifts will enable us to continue our work to make life better for older people.
