The work of Help and Care could not continue without the generous donations of people who share our values. Some of our work is funded by bodies like councils or health trusts but much of what we do is unfunded and relies entirely on charitable donations.
Our Volunteers give their time freely to help others in their communities but we rely entirely on charitable donations to support them and ensure that they have all the support, training, facilities and expenses that they need...
Our Gateway staff do a fantastic job but we have to work hard to stay up to date with all the accurate and relevant information that people need. We rely on charitable donations to do that and we couldn't do it without the generous support from others who value this service as much as we do...
We work closely with many local older people and carers to find out what kind of help people really want and how. As a result we provide some of our services without any funding from local government or similar organisations. For example, our telephone befriending service is run entirely without any funding, our Information Gateway similarly is not paid for by any external agencies.
We want to continue to run these services and develop more so that we can support even more people in ways that they really want. Perhaps you can help?
We have several ways that you can make a donation to Help and Care;
