At Help & Care, our mission has always been to support individuals and communities in living the lives they choose. In line with our ongoing commitment to our communities, we have decided to cease our activity on X (formerly Twitter).
This decision comes after careful consideration of the platform's changing dynamics, a significant shift in how our community engages with us online with many members moving away from X in recent months, and noticeable shift in X's content environment that increasingly conflicts with our organisational values
As an organisation founded on principles of collaboration, personal dignity, social justice and innovation, we find the current climate on X increasingly misaligned with these core tenets. We believe our responsibility to uphold these values extends to the digital spaces we occupy.
While we withdraw from X, we remain fully committed to maintaining robust communication with our community. Our resources will now be redirected toward channels that more effectively facilitate our mission and better serve our stakeholders. We will continue to provide updates, resources and support through our website (helpandcare.org.uk) and our remaining social media platforms.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all who have engaged with us on X throughout our time on the platform. We look forward to your continued participation as we focus our efforts on digital environments that better reflect our organisational ethos and commitment to empowering individuals and communities.
