After 40 years of continuous leadership under Mark Sharman, who has guided the organisation since its very beginning, Mark will be retiring in April 2026. The search for his successor is now underway, with the role being advertised through Harris Hill.

This marks the first time in Help & Care’s history that the charity will appoint a new Chief Executive.

The Chief Executive will be responsible for leading the organisation into its next chapter, building on four decades of supporting communities across Dorset and beyond. The role involves shaping the charity’s future strategy, working closely with partners in health and social care, and ensuring Help & Care continues to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.

The advert will run for one month, closing on Monday 20 October 2025 at 9am.

For full details of the role and how to apply, visit the Harris Hill website.
