Advice on moving and handling

If the person you care for finds it difficult to walk or other movements are restricted due to an operation or general ageing etc. a Community Physiotherapist will be able to provide advice and training.  A Community Physiotherapist will visit you at home if necessary, and will be able to discuss individual needs, taking into account the layout of your home and furniture. Alternatively you may be asked to attend a local Physiotherapy Clinic at your GP surgery or local hospital. Ask your GP to refer you to the Community Physiotherapist.
