Healthwatch Hampshire cited as good practice by the CQC

Healthwatch Hampshire has been cited as good practice by Healthwatch England and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for their work on promoting equality and human rights.

โ€˜Equally outstanding Equality and Human Rights โ€“ good practice resourceโ€™ has been published by the CQC to demonstrate that those services that put equality and human rights at their core, provide better services for the public. For this purpose, the CQC has used case studies which can be a reference to other providers.

Healthwatch Hampshire has been recognised (page 41) for their reports about people with a learning disability and people with dementia, and the powerful film about health care experiences of transgender people.
